in the new six-party talk countries, involving russia, china, south korea, the united states, japan, and i don't know exactly what that is. but it is a combination of toughening the policy with some kind of rewards if there is movement, a positive movement. we have never really tested this guy. we know very little about him. so, i'm not saying the answer is to isolate him completely. that doesn't seem to be working. some kind of engagement, i don't know exactly what. i'm not in the government. i'm a private citizen but i think our approach to north korea ranging from engagement, to sanctions, has not worked. so what we need to do is find a way to deal with him that tests this new guy. we should not just say forget about him and isolate him because he has had nuclear weapons and we have had 60,000 troops there and he has missiles. his people are starving. at the least we need to find ways in a humanitarian way, help those people. >>shepard: a lost challenges there. thank you. we are just a few days away from a vote on egypt's controversial new constitution. today, the main alliance th

we're talking about friday by the time we get to japan. a 7.3 earthquake kicks off the northern east coast of japan. if this coastline looks very familiar to you, it's because just last year there was a 9.0 quake there. that's the one that triggered not only the earthquake -- but the tsunami and then the nuclear disaster in fukushima. to compare the two, this one is much, much weaker. this sent a wall of water towards the coastline. but this one did trigger a tsunami warning. at points, there was a six-foot tsunami expected. actually, a three-foot wave, wall of water did work along the coastline. the tsunami warnings are canceled right now. let me show you all of the video coming out. this is from sendai. you realize, you see the buildings shaking, this is more than 200 miles away from the center of this quake. as frightening as that must have been, they didn't know how strong the quake was at the time it was happening. and the buildings are shaking like this. there's also scenes of folks trying to cram into train stations because warning
